The weather forecast is very discouraging.
The Water Adjudication meeting listed in the flyer below on October 30 is at the Rome Grange. These three free in-person workshops are for landowners who use groundwater wells. Pre-registration is required – no drop ins. Everyone is welcome to attend one or more sessions.

The Bellingham Chapter of the International Footprint Association holds fundraisers to support deserving local law enforcement projects in our community including:
- officer safety equipment
- search and rescue radios
- sheriff dept. exercise equpment
- police dogs
- Project Santa Claus
- Arthritis Jingle Bell Run
- financial aid for officer families in time of need

Various speakers from the Whatcom Conservation District and others will address wildfire preparedness, risk mitigation, health and evacuation concerns.
